OUR PROCESS

OUR PROCESS
From Vision to Design
Everything starts with an idea.
A color Maggie saw while traveling. Vintage jewelry. Fabric textures. Architecture. A sketch scribbled down before it disappears.
From there, the designs start taking shape by hand. Sketches turn into sculpted forms, prototypes, and samples until every detail feels right.
A lot gets edited out along the way. Only the pieces that truly feel special make the final collection.
Craftsmanship
Every Mignonne Gavigan piece passes through many hands before it reaches yours.
Hand embroidery, beading, stitching, stone setting, finishing. Some pieces take hours to complete because the details matter that much.
The slight variations, texture, and dimensionality are what make the pieces feel alive and not factory-made.
This is the part of the process we never rush.
Hand Embroidery
Detailed stitch work done entirely by hand.
Beading
Layered textures and embellishments applied piece by piece.
Finishing
Every piece is inspected and refined before production.
Feather-work
Lightweight movement and texture designed into the silhouette.
Sustainability
We work with long-standing partners who specialize in hand craftsmanship and embroidery techniques that have been passed down over generations.
As a women-led brand, we care deeply about preserving that artistry and supporting the people behind it.
We produce thoughtfully, in smaller runs, and focus on creating pieces meant to be worn, kept, layered, and collected over time.
