Junior Account Executive
New York City, NY - Full Time

The Junior Account Executive will support Mignonne Gavigan’s specialty and department store business. The Junior Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales of wholesale accounts, representing the brand at events, working with buyers and supporting the logistics behind the Wholesale operations. Will also be responsible for working with accounts visiting the NYC showroom. This role reports to the Head of Sales. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Influence assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, consumer trend, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to global merchants/design
  • Run weekly sales analysis, organize and distribute reports, and participate in sales meetings
  • Manage day-to-day communication with vendors 
  • Assist with Order entry and invoicing in RLM
  • Assist with Physical Inventory Management & Organization, including gifting, wholesale returns, damages and product swaps
  • Visit store locations and conduct store trainings (as needed)
  • Attend Tradeshows & Organize Samples for Trunkshows & Tradeshows
  • Help create, maintain and communicate Merchandising guidelines for Stores
  • Assisting with development and maintenance of brand assets, sales collateral and other Company materials
  • Manage sample trafficking for wholesale. Complete all necessary paperwork including creating and accurately filling out shipping documentation 
  • Merchandising product for sales appointments and retail space
  • Manage showroom appointments for wholesale customers 

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a wholesale / planning role
  • Highly organized
  • Must be able to commute in the NYC area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong self-discipline and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Joor, NuOrder and RLM a plus
  • Can-do attitude and team player 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Desire to work in a dynamic office environment and have a real impact 
  • Willingness to help in various areas as needed to support ongoing projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ comfortable speaking and writing with personnel at all levels
